Mya Vella-Hall is a multi-media video, sound and performance artist also working as a hair stylist in London. Their practice aims to find where the self, the digital and the human condition meet. The artist picks apart wider systemic issues and cultural signifiers through the lens of personal trauma and Buddhist practice to generate unique characters, sounds and narratives. These often saturated, uncanny and complex results seek to force the viewer in to questioning truth in the post-truth era.
